Gate River Run

For over 40 years, the GATE River Run has been an epic event that draws over 20,000 runners and spectators from around the country to downtown Jacksonville. The run is hosted by nonprofit organization JTC Running, dedicated to providing summer running camp scholarships for high school students and other philanthropic offerings that promote fitness. After the race, enjoy the Publix Post-Race Celebration with food, drinks, live entertainment, an awards ceremony, and kids’ entertainment.

Sebring Soda Festival

Showcasing the craft soda movement that has taken over America in recent years, the Sebring Soda Festival drew 9,000 soda lovers last year - and this year is sure to draw many more! Florida’s fizziest festival takes place in downtown Sebring, located in Central Florida, about a two hour’s drive from Tampa or Orlando. The Sebring Soda Festival is a unique event highlighting small batch, craft sodas from across the U.S., as well as some vintage brands including Cheerwine, Moxie and RC Cola. Most of the sodas at the Festival are made in small batches and most are made with real sugar or honey (no high fructose corn syrup). You’ll have the opportunity to sample and purchase more than 200 sodas including traditional offerings as well as countless unique flavors you can’t generally find in stores, including caramel apple, prickly pear, espresso, peach cobbler, and candied bacon.
